A Dark Room and a Healer in Thailand

My first four months in Thailand were spent at a spa called Tao Garden. While I was there, they had a Dark Room but before it began, I started to know Margit (not her real name). She was a tall, slim Austrian woman who spent several months each year at Tao Garden giving healings. She speaks softly, pausing to search for the right English word, and her eyes smile gently. Her healings relieve people of their physical pain.

These Dark Rooms are an annual event and there were 40 participants at this year’s. Briefly, you stay alone in a room with a bathroom, no lights, and all windows covered.

An Unusual Psychic in Thailand

I spent all of 2013 in Thailand, happy to be there while I waited to see if my two stem cell treatments would take care of my leukemia. The first four months were at a health spa just outside of Thailand’s second largest city, Chiang Mai. My Arizona doctor was running the clinic there and hoping to arrange a raw vegan diet so those of his patients who wanted to could spend time at this spa and receive healings. I was one such patient.

Are You Grounded?

Grounding has been a popular topic for a few years now and the method most often suggested is barefoot walking on the earth. I think children instinctively know about this and stay barefoot if they can; at least that used to be true before TV, video games and texting came along. When we walk or run barefoot on the soil, grass or sand, it opens the feet chakras, allowing earth energy to flow in and up the leg channels into the body. This gives us that satisfying, sturdy sensation. It connects us with our planet.
